Watchers

In my current drawing practice I've always relied upon the line. I used it to make forms, stake out areas, etc. But now, with the current drawings that I'm working, I've found myself unable to work with anything but line. And that line has to be pure. I've found it impossible to make forms with it because it is, in my eyes, a lie.

These lines that I'm playing with seem to be my lovers. Private confidants that I can rely upon in times of need for comfort. The fact that they are there seems enough for me. They are so delicate, so perfect. I can't bear the thought of parting with any one of these lines, they're that ingrained in my eye. They're that powerful.

So what do y'all think about line?

You're allowed back on the forums, yet I've not really seen you be active on any threads. What's up?

Also, this reminds me of you for some reason. It's probably because of the whole Beethoven/Mozart both being composers thing, and it's been in my head for days. I'll just leave this here.
